Installation, first steps and answers to the most common questions.

Install the extension

The extension connects your agent sessions to the app. For Claude Code, it consists of a plugin, which registers the sessions, and a local server that the app starts. T'esperam also connects to Codex from the "Connect an agent" window, the same one as for Claude Code. The steps below are for Claude Code.

  1. Install T'esperam in your Mac's Applications folder and open it. The Claude Code plugin's hooks look for the app at that location.
  2. In the app, open the "Connect an agent" window. It shows the command to run once in the terminal for Claude Code, with the port and token specific to your installation:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user tesperam http://127.0.0.1:<port>/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <token>"
  3. Install the plugin bundled with the app:
    claude plugin install tesperam@tesperam
  4. Restart the Claude Code sessions that are already open so that they pick up the plugin.

If you regenerate the token in the app, the window shows the removal command and then the new command to run.

First steps

  1. At first launch, allow access to Reminders: this is where your agents, Claude Code and Codex alike, leave their requests, in the Reminders list you choose in T'esperam's settings ("Agents" by default).
  2. In the app, allow your requests to be shared with your agents. Without this consent, the Reminders tools refuse the request.
  3. Start an agent session: it appears in the fleet, and its requests in that list, within the app.
  4. For Claude plan usage, add T'esperam's status line to the Claude Code settings, following the command the app suggests. T'esperam reads no Codex usage counter.
  5. On iPhone and iPad, open T'esperam with the same iCloud account: sessions and messages synchronize there.

Frequently asked questions

Does the app read my conversations with the agents?

No. It only knows the messages exchanged in its own thread, the reminders in the list chosen in its settings and the usage counters that Claude Code passes to it. The privacy policy details each piece of data.

No request appears in the app.

Check that access to Reminders is granted in System Settings (Settings on iPhone and iPad), that the Reminders list you choose in T'esperam's settings ("Agents" by default) still exists and that sharing requests with agents is allowed in the app. Then check that the agent is connected: for Claude Code, that the command adding the server was run.

My sessions do not appear in the fleet.

For Claude Code, the plugin must be installed and the sessions restarted after installation. The app must also be open and located in the Applications folder.

The port or the token no longer works.

Reopen the "Connect an agent" window: it gives the command that removes the old declaration, then the up-to-date command to add it again.

Messages do not synchronize between my devices.

Your devices must be signed in to the same iCloud account, with iCloud Drive turned on and an internet connection. The app shows the synchronization state in its settings.

How do I manage or cancel the subscription?

The subscription is managed by Apple, in your App Store account settings (apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions).

How do I erase my data?

Delete the app, then its data in iCloud settings (Manage Storage); the full procedure is in the privacy policy.
